Herry to St Thibault 13th July and Basttile day in Sancerre 14th July.

They had fireworks on Friday night but after getting back from a long walk in the very heavy rain we weren’t going to get wet again to watch. Missed the service as the rain delayed our arrival but the Military were still in town.

We haven’t seen many vines along the canal but around Sancerre they stretch as far as you can see.

Tour des Fief this is the only tower left of six that were part of the 14^th Century Chateau of the Counts of Sancerre.
