Montereau- Fault-Yonne to Sens 24th June.

8 locks like this today not easy to see but slopping sides eventually we will have to master them with the water falling not to bad for a long keel boat but with bilge keels could be a f*** up.
The lock before this one a yacht we had been with all day never got his lines ashore quick enough ended up side on in the middle luckily no damage done (when the lock keeper lets the water in its a ragging torrant at the front end).

Six nights staying Paris for 126 Euro.

The Paris Arsenal.

On the opposite side of the Arsenal the locals gather in the evening sun.

Place de la Bastille
This spot used to be a jail, on 14th July 1789 a mob revolted and freed the prisoners and demolished the prison the spot is now a very busy roundabout, in the centre is a statue Colonne de Juilet it was built in 1833 as a memorial to those killed in the street fight and they are all buried under the monument.

Joggers paradise the Jardin des Plantes.

Entrance to the Louvre.

If you went to the louvre it would take you 3 months to see all that was inside so it says do some research to see what part you want to see and when the queues are long at the pyramid go to where the shops are on the outside and there is another way in that not many people know about and you beat the queues.

Louvre to the Arc de Triomphe.

Its a long walk I can tell you.

Another side of Notre Dame.

Lovers walk.

Victoria said I will take you up the Eiffel Tower for Fathers day, there is an awful lot of steps to the second level.

Thousands wait for the light show every night.

Port De Plaisance De Lilon to Haulte De Plaisance De Meulan 13th June.

Long lengths of the upper Seine are divided by Islands
lots of times one side to shallow for Barges, there are some
 cracking quite stops.

Along the side of this one the Artists or someone had set out various
exhibitions.

The weather improved to brilliant sunshine for a couple of hours,
(best we have seen for days) then the sky swirled up and along came
a thunder storm and half a night of rain.

Vernonnet to Port De Plaisance De Lilon 12th June

Chateau de la Roche Guyon.

First river lock we had to share.

Right after the lock the Fluviacarte shows a washing as one of their assets
turns out its the only real asset as they are miles for anywhere.

Port du Lilon.

The Trees along the River are loaded with Mistletoe.
